In the spirit of St. Patrick’s day, we wanted to show off some green inspired food and drink ideas for your wedding. Food creativity and presentation have become quite a popular trend in weddings and we are loving all of the innovative ways to incorporate the natural pops of green – from nature to veggies and fruits into your Spring themed wedding. Here are a few ideas to help you get started…

1. Use fruits as a part of your decor. It’s organic, it’s colorful, it’s Springtime!  Whether you’re sprucing up your bar with a table of apples or filling up vases with limes, fruits are an easy yet beautiful way to add a hint of color to your wedding decor.


Garnish, garnish, garnish!  Garnish your cocktails with fresh fruit, or even add pops of fruit color to your wedding cake .


Be inspired by Top Chef.  Wow your guests with presentation especially for smaller wedding festivities.   Pair your appetizer with a drink, use fancy spoons, glassware, and plates. This is a way to really let your personality shine, so experiment and have fun with it!


Build your own dessert bar.  We love apothecary jars. Add jelly beans, sugar sticks, chocolate covered almonds, macaroons, and other colored themed goodies to build a decadent dessert bar. 



5. Sometimes, simple is best. While we love Top Chef, the truth is you don’t have to be fancy and decadent to make an impression. Little cucumber cakes or green melon served in margarita glasses are all you need!
